Wow! When I looked in the airboat tours from Cyprus Airboats I had no idea what a ride of my life I was going to have. I am a freelance photographer and have always been interested in wetlands and wildlife in the Florida Everglades. However, I would be kept at what I considered more secure jobs after they had heard horror stories about photographers and reporters going in the Everglades and getting seriously hurt, so I was afraid to try it until now.

I think the best shot I took was one of the American alligator resting on a log that is only meters away from the open airboat. I was so preoccupied with the photo opportunities that I forget all my fears about being immersed in the Florida Everglades.

tour pace was slow enough that I could get good quality shots, and being that I had a private tour, the staff at Cypress Airboats was ready to take that extra time so I could get my best photographic opportunities. I felt like I was on another planet, intimately immersed in the Everglades and all of this is abundant life. It seemed almost unreal when the tour came to an end and I was back in a hurry and bustle of everyday life.

As I live in the Miami area, we took our tour through the village of South Cypress. Thanks to my friend prior experience, we chose the Gold package which we had three hours of photographic wonder in the Florida Everglades. the trip was so helpful to me is that I think about taking my niece, who is six years, the Bronze package tour for just one hour the next time I will visit it in the West Palm Beach. I'm sure I'll have a great time photographing my niece's look like miracles Florida Everglades up close and personal. I can not think of a better gift to give to her, and I'm sure the staff at the location of Northern Cyprus will be as helpful as they were when I took my tour in South Cypress Airboats.
